The “Everything Must Go” Sedo auction I mentioned a few days ago will end today, only a little over 11 hours left. A grand total of 196 domains are being offered, including a lot of interesting LLLLs such as quad premiums (LLLLs with 4 premium letters), LLLLs with repeating letters and so on.

The General Availability phase for dot bid, dot trade and dot webcam started today. Did you guys register any?
I tried grabbing some dot bid and dot trade domains which represented good “left of the dot + right of the dot” combinations (in other words, domains which represent a good fit for their new gTLD) but didn’t manage to obtain the ones I was after, so I ended the day with zero registrations.

I’ve been pretty picky thus far, with 34 new gTLD domains (as mentioned in my 4 case study updates: update1, update2, update3 and update4) acquired up until this point.
By the end of 2014, I will probably end up owning about 100.

Bad week in terms of GoDaddy coupons unfortunately, only 4. Not sure whether they work worldwide or only for customers from the US and Canada. Didn’t use any of them myself, so I can’t guarantee they’ll work.
Since there are only 4 discount codes this week, testing them won’t be all that time-intensive, might be worth giving it a try if you want to hand register or transfer a domain.

In my second case study update, when I referred to my development plans for Stocks.XYZ (landrush domain), I also told you guys that I got some general availability domains but since I wasn’t sure what my final list looked like (one of the domains went to auction), I decided to only write about them once I know the outcome of the auction.

An “Everything Must Go” no reserve auction event started on Sedo this week and will end in approximately 4 days and 19 hours.
196 domains are being offered, including lots of LLLL dot coms (some of which are quad premiums, in other words LLLLs with 4 premium letters, or have repeating letters):

The general availability phase for 7 new gTLDs will start tomorrow. I might have missed some because quite frankly, a lot of new extensions are so poorly promoted that even the people/companies behind them might have forgotten about the launches.

As mentioned on the 18th of May, I’ll be documenting my new gTLD journey as of this point and will let you guys know what I bought as well as what my plans/results are.
Yesterday, I picked up Stocks.XYZ, my first landrush domain (all of the other ones have been bought during the general availability phase). The domain will have a standard renewal fee and I plan on turning it into a megasite with 100+ articles.

This week wasn’t exactly spectacular for coupon enthusiasts but still, I’ll be sharing 6 discount codes with you guys. One of them most likely works worldwide as opposed to just for customers from the US or Canada and as far as the other five are concerned, I’m not sure.
