The future of new GTLDs – From .com to .blog?

Posted on 24 April 2019 by NamePros Daily

Today: How to build a domain portfolio website / AGHG.com Sold for $5,980 / Domain Battle Round #16 – Thunderdome Contest / And more!

Here are the new discussions that caught my eye in the domain community today!

Tech/APK domains Only .com please – Budget: Up to $300.00 – Be sure to check your portfolio for one of these Tech/APK .com domain assets. This buyer is ready for a smooth transaction.

Buying SquadHelp Approved Domains – Budget: Up to $20 ea. – If you have any domain names approved at squadhelp and looking to liquidate them for fast cash, this might be an opportunity.

ModernCars.org – The two-words seem to work well with one another, but is that enough to give it any market liquidity in .org? What do you think this domain asset is worth?

Domain Battle Round #16 – Thunderdome Contest – If you haven’t checked out the latest domain battle round, you’re missing out. Which one of those domain assets would you vote for?

AGHG.com Sold for $5,980 – That’s not a bad domain name sales report for a four-letter .com domain for a mid-four-figures. Do you think it should have sold for more or less than what it sold for?

How to build a domain portfolio website – What tips would you offer a new domain investor in building a portfolio website? Check out what some investors are saying and compare notes.

The future of new GTLDs – From .com to .blog? – What do you think about this example of an end-user switching their .com to a .blog because it matched their development direction?

The death of domaining is on the horizon

Posted on 07 February 2018 by NamePros Daily

Today: .tv ccTLD market – Thriving or diving? / .life investment discussion / Domain names are a decentralized technology / And more!

Here are the new domain discussions and domain news.

How to sell a domain asset to a company with the hyphenated version – Have you ever tried this? How did it go? Do you have some tips, tricks, or strategies you can share to help walk newer investors through the steps?

FlowerDeliveryReview.com – Affiliate Possibility or etc – I’m just not feeling how the three words in FlowerDeliveryReview.com play together. Maybe if it was plural it would be better? What kind of value do you think this 3-word singular has?

WatchCoins.Com – Seriously? WatchCoins.com? While I can see that it’s meant to be developed into a site that monitors an assortment of coins in one place for convenience, I’m just not seeing why it would have value with all the crypto/coin markets crashing. What do you think it’s worth?

Domain names are a decentralized technology – Do you agree that domain names are a decentralized technology and on it’s way to being replaced by new technology soon? I’m just not buying it, are you?

.tv ccTLD market – Thriving or diving? – Now this is an interesting discussion/debate about the ccTLD .tv extension. If you are a .tv investor or thinking about investing in .tv domain names, this is the discussion you want to be involved in.

.life investment discussion – Do you own any .life and want to share your investment? Looking to discuss the .life extension in more detail and share stats with other .life investors? If so, then this is the discussion for you.

The death of domaining is on the horizon – There is some crazy talk about domain investing losing momentum and crashing like it was a cryptocurrency or something. I don’t think there is any accuracy to the report. What do you think?
