If we were to analyze the auction pattern of the previous Domain Fest Global events, we’d notice that all of them had a blockbuster sale in the spotlight. What do you guys think about this year’s auction? Will there be a 7 figure sale and if so, which domain do you think will fetch over a million?

I’ve just received an email from Moniker with an update on the DomainFest Prague conference (over 200 attendees) and Restaurants.com seems to have received a bid ($4,500,000) which is quite close to its reserve. What do you guys think, will Restaurants.com be sold?
BoxCar.com Extends $1 Membership Promotion until Halloween

Mike from DomainConsultant.com has launched a new domain auction website, BoxCar.com. In order to take advantage of their $1 per year membership special, you need to sign up for an account and pay before it’s too late. The $1 fee is just a formality, so it’s really a no-brainer if you’re a domainer. Why risk missing out on a great deal just so you can save a buck (literally)?

No, it’s definitely not a typo and no, I’m not insane (at least I hope I’m not). We’ve decided to approach the market with a special fall promotion: our 8% commission is officially gone and as of this point, you won’t have to pay us anything extra if the domain ends up being sold at Auctionpus.com.

If you own 4-5 figure domains and want to liquidate (reseller prices only please), shoot us an email (domains@auctionpus.com). If your domain is worth 4 figures at the very least and is priced to sell, we’re willing to list it without asking for a minimum commission if and only if the reserve is reasonable.
