Portfolio Size: 2009 vs. 2010 vs. 2011

Posted on 09 June 2011 by Andrei

Alright guys, let’s analyze the 3 “post boom” years (2009, 2010 and 2011) with portfolio size as our main focus. To simplify everything, we have three months to put under the microscope (May 2009, May 2010 and May 2011) and just one question: how many domains did you own? In my case: May 2009 < May 2010 = May 2011. In other words, I owned more domains in May 2010 than in May 2009 and the size of my portfolio in May 2011 was pretty much identical to that of May 2010. What about you?

Posted on 08 May 2011 by Andrei

I have one laptop, three desktops and a netbook at the moment of writing but my laptop is trying to get the message across that it’s retirement time, so I’m going to buy a new one next week. Give me some ideas, what do you guys use? I’d love to hear about your positive experiences as well as horror stories with various brands, should be interesting!

What Topics Would You Like Me to Cover?

Posted on 14 November 2009 by Andrei

I’ve received a LOT of emails from people who had development-related questions and it’s fairly obvious that there’s quite a bit of demand for posts written from the perspective of someone who develops sites for a living.

Interested in Launching a Forum – Decent Budget

Posted on 30 October 2009 by Andrei

Join the brainstorming fun and help me out. What don’t you like about the existing domaining forums? Too much noise? What would you like me to do differently? What about the launch, any suggestions? Maybe a contest with HUGE prizes (three winners, $5,000/$3,000/$2,000 and then lots of other stuff)?
