Sedo GreatDomains October Ending Tomorrow

Posted on 21 October 2015 by Andrei

This month’s Sedo GreatDomains event will end in a little under 23 hours, some really interesting inventory in my opinion, including the two-letter beauty EZ.com (+ other really good short domains) as well as possibly the best blog domains I’ve seen in a loooooong time (including blog.de and blog.co.uk).

Domain Sales Newsletter Case Study – Part 10

Posted on 19 October 2015 by Andrei

If there’s one thing I’ve learned (or ok, I already knew it but my belief was strongly reinforced) since starting this newsletter, it’s that in terms of liquidity, there are two worlds: short domains and everything else. If you own a short domain, selling to other domainers it is extremely easy. If not, things tend to become quite a bit more complicated.

End User Research Before Quoting a Price?

Posted on 18 October 2015 by Andrei

Are You a LLLL Dot Com Buyer/Seller?

Posted on 15 October 2015 by Andrei

I’m thinking about eventually creating a Skype group for short domain investors in which only people with “skin in the game” share ideas, buy/sell domains and so on. In other words, a group with a very good signal to noise ratio.

I’m really trying my best not to turn this into a “dynadot sucks” post, you have no idea how hard is it for me to remain reasonable but I’m doing my best.

Domain Sales Newsletter Case Study – Part 9

Posted on 11 October 2015 by Andrei

Yet another balanced list and nowadays, my number one goal is no longer having as much inventory as possible. The idea of selling hundreds of domains through a newsletter may seem tempting but if it makes you accept inventory which either isn’t good enough or isn’t priced properly doesn’t make sense.

At the end of the day, a newsletter isn’t a museum 🙂
