Time for Another $1.18 GoDaddy Coupon

The new $1.18/domain GoDaddy coupon ($1 + the $0.18 ICANN fee) will expire on the 31st of December 2011 at 11:59 PM EST or after it has been redeemed 10,000 times. It cannot be used for transfers or renewals, only new registrations. One domain per customer and it is not possible to use PayPal or AliPay.

The domain Boomers.com fetched $26,900 at Namejet after 320 bids from 230 bidders, 4 NameJet users were involved in the bidding war after the amount reached the 5 fig zone.

No Love for Tajikistan.com and Congressman.com at NameJet

The two domains (owned by Tucows) did not sell at NameJet, “Reserve Not Met” in both cases. 175 bids by 165 bidders generated a high bid of $10,600 for Tajikistan.com, while 182 bids from 169 bidders generated a high bid of $8,599 for Congressman.com.

Both domains are being auctioned by Tucows via NameJet, the two auctions will end in less than 24 hours. At the moment of writing, Tajikistan.com has a high bid of $8,200 (172 bids, 165 bidders) and Congressman.com has a high bid of $7,100 (180 bids, 169 bidders).

Like maybe Pepsi and Coca Cola, which generate billions by selling unhealthy beverages or McDonalds/Burger King/whatever which also generate billions by selling unhealthy food.
