It seems I was right back in December, you can literally feel the excitement surrounding NamesCon. People (lots of people, I might add: the conference was sold out but they managed to find a way to let some more people attend, so there are still a few spots left if you want to make a last minute decision) are genuinely happy about attending, those who couldn’t make it this year are looking forward to reading the coverage and all in all, I’d say we can safely say that the conference is a success.
In my opinion, this is great for the industry as a whole.
There will be dot com enthusiasts, there will be new gTLD enthusiasts and most importantly, there will be a friendly environment which encourages constructive discussions.
No matter which side of the fence you’re on, NamesCon will give you an opportunity to hear lots and lots of pertinent opinions. The more information you have, the better equipped you are to make the right choices.
Just wanted to congratulate Richard as well as his team, I wish them all the best and hope everyone will have a great time 🙂
