Today: Wya.io Appraisal / Looking for Dot Com – Budget $500,000 / Is reaching out to branding agencies a good idea and More…
Here are the new discussions that caught my eye in the domain community today:
Wya.io Appraisal – Check out this interesting dot io and only three letters? What do you think?
Looking for Dot Com – Budget $500,000 – Check your portfolio and see if you have what they are looking for! Just three letters, they want multiple so keep them coming.
In anticipation of us all being able to meet in person again at NamesCon after several years, NamePros decided to go into their media archives to produce never-before-seen footage of the event. With NamesCon 2022 underway, it’s the perfect time to take a look back and appreciate all of the value it’s provided over the years. Enjoy!

The networking, the speakers, the fun, these are all valid reasons but in my opinion, the #1 aspect that makes NamesCon a huge success is the fact that their WaterNight event managed to raise $111,000 as Morgan mentioned earlier today.
A great event for a worthy cause!
It’s extremely sad that in 2014, there are still children who don’t even have access to clean water and I am glad that through events such as WaterNight, domainers are joining forces in order to do something about it.
It seems I was right back in December, you can literally feel the excitement surrounding NamesCon. People (lots of people, I might add: the conference was sold out but they managed to find a way to let some more people attend, so there are still a few spots left if you want to make a last minute decision) are genuinely happy about attending, those who couldn’t make it this year are looking forward to reading the coverage and all in all, I’d say we can safely say that the conference is a success.
In my opinion, this is great for the industry as a whole.
Even though I ended up getting to know pretty much everyone who buys and sells domains for a living through DomainingTips.com, I’ve decided to fly across the ocean and attend one US domaining conference in 2011. Let’s hear some suggestions: which conference would you recommend and why?
