DomainDiscussions.com Is Now LIVE!

Posted on 23 February 2010 by Andrei

The DomainDiscussions.com forum is now LIVE: weekly contests with cash and vector logos as prizes, free avatars for everyone and most importantly, a “Freedom of Speech. Period.” policy (no censorship whatsoever and we mean it: feel free to sign up and tell us that we suck, I personally guarantee that your thread/post will NOT be deleted)

Alright, let’s get right down to business, here’s what makes DomainDiscussions.com special:

Navigation = A Piece of Cake

Most forums have so many sections that it’s just not funny and as a result, pearls of wisdom go by unnoticed because a lot of people (me, for example) don’t have enough time to go through all of them.

I understand that you guys are busy and have tried my best to make navigation a piece of cake. Make DomainDiscussions.com a part of your daily surfing routine and you won’t regret it!

LOTS of Contests

Leaving the fact that I’ll be offering some extremely tempting prizes (cash and vector logos) aside, the contests will be a lot of fun AND will provide value to the community.

I won’t give any more details just yet, our first contest will go live a bit later today, stay tuned 😉

Freedom of Speech. Period.

As long as we’re not talking about things like racism, everything goes. I don’t care how controversial an opinion of yours is, it won’t be censored. If you’re tired of domain name forums which have censorship as their business model, you’ll love DomainDiscussions.com!

DomainDiscussions.com = A Bridge Between Domainers and Developers

I have a LOT of contacts in the development world and let’s just say that our “Development” and “Traffic Monetization” sections will contain quite a few pearls of wisdom.

Some of the mods are developers first and only then domainers, so you’ll be receiving advice from people who actually develop sites for a living, not from folks who are just starting out.

People Who Provide Value to the Community WILL Be Rewarded

I’ve mentioned this time and time again: nobody who does business with me ends up regretting it. You guys will be the founding members of a community which will take domaining to the next level.

If you provide value to the community, you can rest assured that I will never forget the fact that you contributed. At one point or another, you will need a powerful ally and I will definitely be there for you: sign up and let’s make some money!

Good luck with your forum, I hope you keep your promise about not censoring opinions. I’ve been a member of other forums and they couldn’t handle the heat. I’ll start a tread about what I think is the painful truth of domaining soon, let’s see if you will keep your word

  5. DomainNameTruth Says:

There, I posted. I’ll lose all respect I ever had for you if it gets taken down.

An interesting discussion may be worth comment. I do believe you should write regarding this topic, may possibly not certainly be a taboo subject but typically individuals are insufficient to dicuss on such topics. To another location. Cheers

When I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new surveys are added- checkbox and now when a comment is added I recieve four emails sticking with the same comment. Will there be in any manner you may eliminate me from that service? Thanks!
