Decent Results at Today’s TRAFFIC Auction

Posted on 21 October 2013 by Andrei

I followed the auction through Vin’s twitter feed and DNN (here and here).

In my opinion, the results were decent and the most important thing is that we had a wide variety of domains, many of which were priced to sell.

I think LawnMowing.com was an excellent buy at that price, then you had 472.com for the short domain enthusiasts and so on.

Basically something for everyone, domains priced to sell at various price levels.

The total amount may not be record-breaking but in case you didn’t know, the reseller market isn’t doing all that well.

You can’t expect amazing numbers given the way things stand with the reseller market right now.

Therefore, I’d say that under current reseller market conditions, the auction did what it was supposed to do.

There were bargains for the buyer like LawnMowing.com, there were good deals for the seller etc.

The most important thing is that as time passes, we can count on TRAFFIC auctions as a decent venue for sellers who need liquidity and buyers who want to make purchases at reseller prices.

The more venues we have, the better off all of us will be and I for will always support those who make things happen regardless of market conditions.

Excellent points, plus we know for sure it was a real bidding process. Looks like a successful Traffic.
