On Monday, I blogged about the most recent $1.18 GoDaddy coupon and explained that nowadays, anyone can launch a website with pocket change thanks to those coupons and thanks to hosting deals such as the $0.98/month one we have over at DomainingServers.com. Guess what? Someone posted a comment and basically said something along the lines of “who needs hosting when we have dot tel?”.

GoDaddy + Silver Lake, KKR, and TCV = ???

As the title suggests, I’m interested in finding out what you think about GoDaddy’s new partnership with Silver Lake, KKR, and TCV. Through this post, I want to ask two simple questions:

1) What will the effects of GoDaddy’s partnership with Silver Lake, KKR, and TCV be in your opinion? Feel free to mention positive as well as negative effects.

2) What would you like the effects of GoDaddy’s partnership with Silver Lake, KKR, and TCV to be? In other words, what changes would make you happy (or happier) as a GoDaddy customer or as a potential GoDaddy customer?

GoDaddy 4th of July Coupon -> $1 Domains

Yep, time for another $1/domain GoDaddy coupon (it can be used for dot coms as well as for other TLDs, simply log into your account and test it when you get a chance to). You’ll end up paying $1.18 for a domain after the $0.18 ICANN fee is added to the mix and as usual, PayPal cannot be used as a payment method for this offer.
