When I published the post about why I decided to start a domain sales newsletter yesterday and told you guys that you can submit domains for tomorrow’s test newsletter if you want to, my expectations weren’t high. After all, the newsletter hasn’t yet proven itself and I’m not even 100% sure I’ll make this a permanent thing. It all depends on the results and at this point, your guess is as good as mine as to whether or not this is going to work.

The response from DomainingTips readers has been overwhelming.

I received lots of submissions and am very proud of tomorrow’s lineup. There won’t be any spoilers, I won’t mention any domains at this point but I’ll limit myself to saying the inventory is perfect for a reseller market newsletter. Very balanced, with everything from blockbuster domains to “bread and butter” inventory.

There have been two types of submissions:

1) From domainers who understand that in order to sell domains to other investors (since again, my subscribers are domain investors just like you), you have to put yourself in the position of the domainers you’re pitching to and leave plenty of upside on the table

2) From domainers who aren’t realistic enough and suggested domains which either aren’t investment grade or which are investment grade but have end user level prices. I’m sorry but I have to be brutally selective, don’t take it personally if I turned down your domains and please understand that the newsletter can only work if the buyers are happy
