Just a friendly reminder: don’t forget about Verisign’s 2012 price increase. If you want to renew a bunch of domains, I’d recommend doing it before the price increase kicks in. Based on my experience, most registrars (at the very least those operating on thin margins and which would lose money by keeping their current prices) will start charging more, so there’s no time like the present to take action.

Renewal fees do tend to add up, especially if you have a large portfolio, so you might as well renew the domains you want to secure before the 2012 price increase goes live. If you think that the world will end in 2012 though, it won’t matter anyway I guess 😉
