The 6N Dot Com Buyout Has Been Pretty Much Finalized

Posted on 07 November 2015 by Andrei

On Thursday, I’ve reported that the LLLL.net buyout has been completed and today, it seems the NNNNNN.com buyout has been finalized as well.

According to Mike, only 8,000 or so NNNNNN dot coms were left ealier today, out of one million combinations. Since we’re only talking about 0.8% unregistered inventory, one can safely conclude the 6N.com buying has been pretty much finalized.

This is definitely good news for short domains in general, as the lower down the chain we go with these buyouts, the more valuable the shorter names or those in better extensions become. If you own LLLL dot coms, you have all of the reasons in the world to be happy that the LLLL dot net buyout has been finalized and the same way, 5N.com owners have reasons to celebrate now that the 6N.com buyout is over.

Where and when this will end is anyone’s guess.

I for one haven’t got the faintest clue.

All I know is that we’re all witnessing something truly spectacular and regardless of whether or not you’re a short domain investor, you have something to learn from all of this.
