Sedo GreatDomains April Just Started!

Posted on 21 April 2016 by Andrei

Sedo has some very juicy short domains this month, several of them at no reserve. I’ll focus on the short domains since everyone’s paying attention to this category now. On the one hand, prices have dropped this year but on the other hand, something interesting happened yesterday, with huge price jumps across the board (over 40% for 6N dot coms, for example).

What happens next is anyone’s guess.

Just when people thought the downtrend was very strong, one huge daily price increase was enough to erase substantial losses.

In my opinion, people should stop trying to predict what happens next. Nobody has a crystal ball, you might as well flip a coin. The market will ultimately dictate what happens next and auctions like this one will play a very important role.

Here are some of this month’s domains.

I’ll start with 4 special LLLLs which are all being sold at no reserve:

DFBF.com (Chinese and Western premium LLLL with repeating “D”, no reserve)

MTRR.com (Chinese and Western premium LLLL with repeating “R”, no reserve)

JJRQ.com (Chinese premium LLLL with repeating “J”, no reserve)

WABE.com (CVCV, no reserve)

Next, here are some regular LLLLs:

OQBF.com (regular LLLL, 100 – 499 GBP reserve)

VYRG.com (regular LLLL, 100 – 499 GBP reserve)

YPCV.com (regular LLLL, 100 – 499 GBP reserve)

JPMU.com (regular LLLL, $100 – $499 reserve)

IKQB.com (regular LLLL, 100 – 499 GBP reserve)

Here are three LLL dot coms with reserves:

NZS.com – (Chinese Premium LLL, $25,000 – $49,999 reserve)

YUO.com (regular LLL, 10,000 – 24,999 EUR reserve)

UIO.com (regular LLL, $10,000 – $24,999 reserve)

… and, finally, two miscellaneous short domains:

T9D.com (CCC, $500 – $999 reserve)

FN.org (Chinese and Western Premium LL, $10,000 – $24,999 reserve)

Disclaimer: three of the domains are mine (DFBF.com, MTRR.com and JJRQ.com), it might seem self-serving that I started with them but quite frankly, all 3 are being offered at no reserve, so they (along with the CVCV which isn’t mine) represent the most interesting deals. All of the other short domains have reserves.

Should be an interesting auction to watch!
