Each year, a genuinely awesome event is organized which deserves the name Project For Awesome in my opinion, please invest at least a minute of your time to check it out. The main goal is raising money for charities in an original manner and it works like this: some people post videos about their favorite charity so that others can vote (the money which is raised ultimately gets sent to the most voted charities, so we decide where the money goes), some people donate money (you can donate through their Indiegogo campaign by clicking HERE and will receive all sorts of interesting/funny perks), some people do both.

The people behind P4A are Hank Green and John Green, two very well-known vloggers and among other things, one of them founded VidCon.

I love the idea as well as the process.

All in all, here’s what all of us can do:

1) Donate through their Indiegogo campaign by clicking HERE, you can donate as little as $1 and every penny counts, the perks are also really great

2) Visit ProjectForAwesome.com, watch videos about charities and vote for the ones you like to ensure that the money which will be raised goes to the most worthy causes

3) Let others know about Project For Awesome by writing about it on Facebook, Twitter, forums and so on
