Can’t believe it’s been over a month since I’ve posted on DomainingTips!
Been working my you-know-what off trying to finalize the launch preparations for my book (if you’d like a free copy and can commit to reading at least 15-20 pages within a week or so, shoot me an email at andrei@domainingtips.com) and my YouTube channel has sucked quite a bit of creative energy out of me (One Minute Economics now has over 2,500 subscribers btw, I’m publishing one minute videos twice a week these days: one on Tuesday and one on Saturday), it’s ridiculous how much stuff I have on my plate right now.
After the book is finally launched properly, my schedule will (hopefully) resemble that of a normal person again.
Until then, I’m finding it hard to balance everything but what can you do? I’ve worked really hard on the book and want to market it properly, which is easier said than done.
The great thing about self-publishing is that you get to have COMPLETE artistic freedom (no publisher to bug you) and don’t have to answer to anyone. The not-so-great thing is that you have to literally do everything yourself.
Realistically speaking, I’ve spent one hour doing something that has nothing to do with writing at all for every hour I’ve spent actually writing. From small-time stuff like getting my ISBNs from the local issuer to complex aspects such as putting together a coherent marketing strategy, all of this takes a toll on you for sure.
Oh well, c’est la vie!
I’ll do my best to put together a sustainable posting schedule because I really hate neglecting the blog.
That’s it for now, there are some domaining-related aspects that I’ve been meaning to refer to but I’ll do this through a few future posts so as to keep things organized. Great to be back!
