Today: WorkItMom.com sold for $21,250 / The best place to park your domains and still earn revenue / Federal Lawmakers Push ‘.Gov’ Web Addresses For Local Governments / and More…

Here are the new discussions that caught my eye in the domain community today:

Buying a software development company domain – Budget: Up to $200.00 – Be sure to check your domain portfolio for a two-word software company related domain name that meets this buyers specified criteria if you need some quick spending cash.

Dictionary-Keyword Extensions – Do you think it’s a wise investment to stick to new gTLD’s that are actual dictionary-words? If so, which ones are the best to invest into? Check out what some investors think.

The best place to park your domains and still earn revenue – Do you have a secrete place you still park your domain names that generates revenue every month for you? Where are you parking at? Take a peek at where other domain investors are parking that works.

WorkItMom.com sold for $21,250 – That’s not a bad domain name sales report for a nine-letter, three-word, long-tail .com domain for five-figures. Do you think it should have sold for more or less than what it sold for?

Federal Lawmakers Push ‘.Gov’ Web Addresses For Local Governments – What do you think about local government agencies being forced off of .com, .org, and ,ud domain extension and being required to use a .gov?

Creating an in-house landing page – Have you ever created an in-house landing page before, that worked? If so, share your experience or compare notes with other domain investors that have done it differently.

In reference to to the .gov thread. I read a pdf over 10 years ago online stating this while browsing. It was the only piece of information i found regarding it. I think the pdf was sent directly to gov sites and not meant for public consumption. Just sayin
