Dear Sedo

Posted on 19 November 2012 by Andrei

Dear Sedo,

Once a month, you’re running the GreatDomains event and as I’m sure you’ll agree, most of the buyers (the overwhelming majority) are domainers. If that’s the case, why aren’t you advertising on domaining websites?

Innovation

Posted on 18 November 2012 by Andrei

After many years of “meh… what we have is good enough”, I’m glad that people are starting to finally innovate again. New solutions such as Frank’s DomainNameSales.com impressed everyone, existing companies such as Sedo/Afternic upped their game through the MLS introduction, GoDaddy finally paid attention to what domainers wanted and the list can go on and on.

Posted on 17 November 2012 by Andrei

In the past, premium listings pretty much worked like this: if a domain was sold, they’d send you a check… eventually. As a business owner, keeping these three words in mind is a must in my opinion. I don’t know if it’s just me or if it’s human nature but a lot of times, whenever I hear about an opportunity (domain sale or acquisition, business, offline investment, you name it), I tend to be pretty excited initially.

eCop.com – Use It!

Posted on 12 November 2012 by Andrei

Whenever we’re dealing with something like the escrow industry, embracing new services is hard. You used Escrow.com, you used Sedo (both of them are great escrow services, I used them personally and my experience was great) and the first reaction whenever you see a new service is probably “meh… Escrow.com and Sedo are good enough” but that’s a mistake in my opinion.
