Places and Daily deals are (or should I say were) some of Facebook’s interesting expansion approaches but they ultimately decided to discontinue both projects.

This month’s GreatDomains event started yesterday and will end on the 25th. Lots of great domains (obviously haha), including Supportive.com at no reserve and a bunch of LLL dot coms such as MAH.com, RIJ.com, TWZ.com, IXR.com, LFY.com and TYD.com.

Domainers, this WILL affect all of us! Standard & Poor downgraded the US from AAA to AA+ and even though there was a $2 trillion mistake involved in their initial analysis (wtf?!?), they did not change their decision.
