Two Reserve Bank of India guidelines will unfortunately make the lives of Indian PayPal users (these changes have been brought to my attention by an Indian domainer) a lot more difficult as of March 2011: on the one hand, they will no longer be allowed to keep a PayPal balance and on the other hand, they will no longer be allowed to accept over $500/transaction.

Even though I ended up getting to know pretty much everyone who buys and sells domains for a living through DomainingTips.com, I’ve decided to fly across the ocean and attend one US domaining conference in 2011. Let’s hear some suggestions: which conference would you recommend and why?

Now all of us obviously prefer selling to well funded end users but what if you all of a sudden need to liquidate 500 domains? Emailing end users can work but scaling can be a royal pain in the you know what, so let’s face it: our industry NEEDS an active reseller market because without it, I’m not really sure we could call ourselves an industry and here’s why:

I always like to start the year with a good brainstorming session and want to hear your honest opinions. How do you think things will stand in 2011 compared to 2010 when it comes to the most important industry “metrics”: high value ($100k+) domains sales, domain sales to end users in general, domainer to domainer sales and parking revenue?
