The Web Is Still in Its Infancy

Posted on 13 February 2013 by Andrei

35% – the percentage of people who were using the Internet in 2011.

77.86% – the percentage of people using the Internet in the US.

38.3% – the percentage in China.

49% – the percentage in Russia.

.. and so on.

As you can see, there’s still *plenty* of room to grow.

And out of the people who are currently using the Internet, how many of them have actually made it a part of their life (online shopping, spending more time online than in front of the TV, etc.)?

Not that many.

Take advantage of the opportunities that are right in front of you, they won’t be here forever.

    Good point!

There will come a day when the Govt is going to crack down on Comcast Verizon and others to provide equal access to high speed internet connections. They have a virtual monopoly and quite a cozy position in our markets right now.

When our govt figures out the business expansion that tearing down the Digital Divide Wall will provide to our nations GDP, they will make their move.Once we as the leading Nation do this other countries will follow. In my opinion it is coming hopefully sooner than later.
