The TRAFFIC Auction Results Seem Decent

Posted on 31 May 2013 by Andrei

I don’t think the list Elliott posted is the final one but based on what I’m seeing, the results seem decent.

The grand total isn’t impressive by any means but all in all, I’d say the prices the domains fetched are decent.

I didn’t see any domains for which you can say that they sold at extremely low prices compared to what they could have fetched somewhere else, so at the end of the day the auction did what it was supposed to do: it gave some domainers the opportunity to liquidate inventory at reasonable reseller market prices.

There weren’t any blockbuster sales but they moved inventory and that’s what counts in my opinion.

    I agree with your assessment.

I must add, it would appear that online bidding would have made a positive difference. Going forward, the challenge would be how to attain a reliable wifi to enable online bidding.

I sold four names there, tripled my money in less than a year and would completely agree with your post here!
