I’m going to have to strongly disagree with Aaron and say that this month’s GreatDomains inventory is very, very weak IMO. Probably due to NamesCon being in the spotlight this month.

We have 3 LLLs with bids above the reserve which make up for 2/3 of the total above reserve bids and that’s it. Sometimes, the Sedo GreatDomains lists are very good/balanced. Definitely not this month, one of their weakest lists I remember seeing for sure. For example, Futbol5.com with a $1,000 – $4,999 reserve? Or brautjungfernkleider.de (bridesmaid dresses in German) at 500-999 EUR?

The short domain selection is ok but the generic English dot com one is terrible. In fact, I only see one English generic in their entire list. But again, I guess this is to be expected because sellers were probably reluctant to list names on GreatDomains this month due to NamesCon being the center of attention. In fact, this is precisely why I took a closer look at GreatDomains this month: thought I might grab some good deals while the rest of you are recovering after partying at NamesCon 🙂

Unfortunately, that won’t happen because the name selection kinda sucks. No me gusta.

But take a look yourself, perhaps you’ll find something of interest, especially if you want to buy short domains.
