Up until this point, I’ve almost always priced inventory and on some occasions, I listed it as “make an offer”. Today, I’ll try something different as an experiment. My newsletter is no longer new but I still like a good experiment, hope you guys do too.
Read the full text of the newsletter below (as always, I’ll remove the domains after 48-ish hours so as not to get indexed) and you’ll see what I did:
Today, I’ve decided to try a little experiment and instead of pricing the two domains I am selling (removed), I’ll let you guys take over.
Here is how it will work: you only have *one* chance to make me an offer, so you will have to submit your best offer right from the beginning. No negotiations or anything like that.
You will submit the offer by replying to this email or by sending an email to andrei@domainingtips.com.
Your email can contain an offer for one of the domains, an offer for both as a pair or an individual offer as well as a pair offer.
For example:
Edited: the domains have been removed
Both are examples of offers you are allowed to make.
But again, you only get one email.
If you send me another email with a higher offer later on, I will *not* take it into consideration. Each subscriber gets one chance, so you have to submit your highest offer right away.
The transaction will be handled via Escrow.com, with the fees paid by the buyer.
All the best,
Andrei

Made an offer. Just out of curiosity though how long are you keeping this offer going for these two domains?

This is a joke, you might as well flush your money, than submit blind offers, let me guess, two parties submiteeed $x offer, would you two like to resubmit even higher offers.
Did adam dicker help you with this?

@Tom: did you even read the rules?
There’s no such thing as a counter offer. People submit their best offer and if I am ok with the price, I accept it. They’re not even allowed to submit second offers and here you are, with your “would you like to submit higher offers?” scenarios which are precisely the thing this approach aims to prevent.
Please read what I’m posting from now on.
Anyway, the domains have been sold.
