Not sure how many domainers use Skype but here it goes. My Skype ID is “domainingtips”, feel free to add me if you consider yourself a moderately experienced domainer at the very least. If you want others to add you, post your Skype ID as a comment and include a short description so that people can determine whether or not they want to add you.
I’m not online all that much but I do log in a couple of times per week. Skype can be a useful tool if you know how to use it. If you’re a beginner though, I’d advise against starting to ask people random questions on Skype before you’ve mastered the basics.
Read some blogs, take a look at domaining forums and after you’ve established a solid foundation and have some experience under your belt, you’re in a far better position to exchange opinions with fellow domainers.
Remember: you can’t expect others to help you if you’re unwilling or unable to offer something in return. Maybe the things you can offer in return have nothing to do with domaining. Maybe you’re a good programmer or designer, maybe you’re good at something else. The bottom line is this: always be willing to help, that’s the right attitude if you’re serious about establishing business relationships.
