No Sales, No Offers

Posted on 05 August 2024 by NamePros Daily

Today: Google’s on the Move / Emi.me Appraisal / I’m going to buy my first domain and More…

Here are the new discussions that caught my eye in the domain community today:

Google’s on the Move – Google is hinting at lowering the SEO value of country code top-level domains. What do you think?

Emi.me Appraisal – An interesting domain name. Three letters is normally highly valued but dot me drags it down. What do you think?

I’m going to buy my first domain – A brand new domainer entering the domain industry. What is something you wish you new when entering the industry?

Looking for Dot Com – Budget $2,500 – A request for a number, letter combination domain. One letter and two numbers is preferred but they will also take one letter and two numbers. Either way it must be a dot com.

Evaluation of 1pr.net – How would you value this domain name in today’s market? One number and two letters dot net is already a risky bet.

No Sales, No Offers – How does the dry season make you feel about domaining? Thinking about hanging up the towel? Well it is almost over and reports of sales picking up is kicking in.

Today: Let’s set a domain sales target for a year – Mine is $50k / PayYourBills.com sold for $5,700 / Final Thoughts and Interactions From MERGE! Conference 2018 / And more!

Here are the new discussions that caught my eye in the domain community today:

Google introduces the .page TLD – Has anyone else heard of this domain extension? Do you own any? Check out what other domain investors are saying about .page.

ZingDaily.com – It has an interesting ring to it, but is sounding cool enough to give a domain value? How much would you approve ZingDaily.com for?

Flull.com – It’s only five-letters, is pronounceable, and brandable. Do you think that gives the domain enough leverage to create value? How much is Flull.com worth in today’s markets?

Final Thoughts and Interactions From MERGE! Conference 2018 – Did you attend MERGE!? If you missed it or just want to see some flash-backs, this attendee has a collection of photos and video.

PayYourBills.com sold for $5,700 – Not a bad three-word, twelve-letter, .com sales report. It’s leading call-to-action as well. Do you think it should have sold for more or less than it did?

Let’s set a domain sales target for a year – Mine is $50k – What is your target to hit within the next 12 months? Compare notes with other domain investors that have similar or higher targets.

Staying Positive Between Domain Sales – Have you found yourself in a slump after a great domain sale that seems to never end? How did you stay positive and push forward? Check out what other domain investors do to help remove emotional triggers.
