Managing domain profits and losses

Today: Large retailers with .net or non .com / WSB.com Sold for $85,000 / Trademark holder Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act / And more!

Here are the new discussions that caught my eye in the domain community today:

MalaysianEstate.com – There is a real estate market in every country, but does that mean there is a market for geo real estate domains in every country too? What’s this one worth?

A company asked me to return my domain to them – Have you ever been asked to return a domain you just registered or won at a drop auction fair and square? Did you eat the loss and turn it over or did you fight for it?

AcousticMelody.com – This domain seems to roll off the tongue smoothly. It passes the radio test as well. Is that enough to give it value though?

Trademark holder Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act – Have you ever run into a situation like this before? It seems a bit strange that anyone would have rights to a domain name that was owned way before a trademark was created.

WSB.com Sold for $85,000 – A very nice three letter .com five digit domain name sales report. High five digits seem ok for this one, but it sure is a far cry from six digits.

Large retailers with .net or non .com – How many large retail corporations that use a .net of non.com domain extension and do not use a .com?

Managing domain profits and losses – How have you been doing with our investments and sales in 2018 so far? How do you keep track of your profits and losses?
