My angle is going to be how to create a great business leveraging a generic domain, increasing its worth exponentially.  I have often thought that main street and big businesses do not understand the value of a great name and what better way than to demonstrate it by building a business on one and selling it on for 10s of millions. The first step is to get the best generic domain in a market that has no major brands, like furniture. Next is the challenge of branding, how the hell do you create character in such a generic brand like Furniture.co.uk? And that brand needs – to connect with people, compete, grow and get people buying or simply thinking.
