… be mentally prepared for *that* moment when you find out that he/she ended up selling it at a huge profit later on.
We’re only human, so it’s understandable that should this happen, you’ll regret selling it but you have to understand that it comes with the territory.
People sell on the reseller market for various reasons.
Maybe they need liquidity to fund a new project.
Maybe they need liquidity for another acquisition.
Maybe they just need some extra cash to pay the bills.
… in all of those cases and more, the reseller market can be a great venue.
But… and there’s always a but… you won’t get top dollar for your domain(s).
You will be selling to other domainers, in other words to people who want to buy in order to ultimately sell at a profit.
Eventually, you’ll most likely end up hearing about at least one situation when one of the domains you sold on the reseller market ended up being sold by the buyer to someone else at huge profit.
Being a good domainer is all about making rational decisions.
To make rational decisions, you have to understand the benefits as well as the potential drawbacks.
And one of those drawbacks is exactly this, finding out that the domain ended up being sold at a huge profit.
Like I said at the beginning of the post: when selling to another domainer, be mentally prepared for *that* moment when you find out that he/she ended up selling it at a huge profit later on 🙂
