A few days ago, I mentioned the Mr.org GreatDomains auction. The owner listed the domain at no reserve and I explained the risks associated with this approach. The auction in question will end in about 1 day and 9 hours and right now, the price is 5700 EUR after 74 bids.
So, is listing domains at no reserve worth it?
Well, based on the current price which I doubt the owner is thrilled about, no.
Yes, there are a lot of bids but at the end of the day, it’s only the price that counts.
There’s one day and 9 hours left at the moment of writing, so everything will ultimately depend on the final price.

No reserve auctions are always interesting and I’ll be following this one. It’s an experiment through which the owner is putting the domain at risk and I’m curious if the final price will be reasonable or a disappointment for the person who listed it at no reserve.

@Shane: thanks for dropping by Shane, the domain isn’t mine though.
