The results make it clear that it’s not 2007 anymore but the three previously mentioned top dollar sales (FijiIslands.com at $58,830, PropertyAppraisal.com at $23,530 and OrganicTea.com at $17,650) make the grand total seem “kind of ok” given the fact that this year’s NYC event wasn’t huge (it was a meet-up and not a conference).
There were a LOT of amazing domains (Hot.com, End.com and so on) but when it comes to the 100k+ ones, the reserves were too high for the reseller market. IMO, sellers who want to liquidate via reseller venues need to adjust their expectations.

i think PropertyAppraisal is too long and it is not worth $23,530. Fijiisland name seems good but it is not a global name. i like OrganicTea as name but you can only target one thing, Tea! 🙂

Would have loved to have acquired OrganicTea.com! 🙂
