Top ISPs Will Become “Copyright Cops” – Good News or Slippery Slope?

Posted on 08 July 2011 by Andrei

As Mike Berkens mentioned a few hours ago, Time Warner Cable, Comcast, Verizon, Cablevision and a bunch of other ISPs have agreed to basically become “copyright cops”.

In my opinion, we need to analyze this situation while also taking recent “government intervention” events into consideration (websites being shut down, problematic legal issues such as the ones in California and so on). Do you think that more “Internet regulation” is a good thing or a slippery slope?

My question is simple: how much is “too much” as far as you’re concerned?
