I just had to post this screenshot, pretty funny. 5 bloggers (Andrew, yours truly, Elliot, Jamie and Kevin) clicked on the “Publish” button at pretty much the same time. The result: 5 headlines about the Data.com sale in a row on Domaining.com.
Oh and in case you were wondering: no, nobody is copying posts. We’re simply receiving the same press release via email and I can almost imagine how all of us interrupt whatever it is we were doing (lunch, conversations, bikini model orgies) in order to log in and cover the story 🙂

@Jamie: I noticed the email while doing something on my netbook (I have a love-hate relationship with the netbook btw: typing on it is a pain in the you know what but it occupies very little space and looks great on the office desk next to the two screens I use for “real” work) and didn’t manage to publish the post using my “real” computer fast enough. Next time Mr. Allemann, next time! 🙂

Shows the trigger-happy instinct to be the “first” to get the breaking news out. In that rush, the reporting of all guys is nothing more than buyer-seller info. Any analysis beyond that would help us.
