… that’s one of the most important things you have to understand as a domainer.
Some things can’t be calculated, they just happen.
For example, just when you’re ready to close the deal and *almost there* price-wise, the other party can stop replying.
You start wondering… what went wrong?
It happens to everyone at one point or another but weird end user behavior is something you learn to get used to.
When negotiating, you’re interacting with another person and whenever you’re dealing with people… expect the unexpected 🙂
Sometimes, deals fall through because of something you did.
In that case sure, figuring out what went wrong and learning a lesson makes sense.
Sometimes, on the other hand, deals fall through due to all sorts of weird circumstances that you have no control over and couldn’t have predicted.
Just accept them for what they are, don’t take it personally and understand that it comes with the territory if you’re a domainer.
