The beta version of Mozilla Firefox 6 was released a short while ago and according to the Mozilla blog, the new version contains an address bar which highlights the domain of the website you’re currently visiting.
This is good news for domainers and let’s face it: there’s no such thing as a “domain killer”. Without domains, the Internet would basically cease to exist. Apps, Facebook, Twitter? These are all impressive projects but if you think they represent “domain killers”, you have a lot to learn about how things work on the Internet.

Great. Let’s hope Google never buys out Mozilla; in Chrome the trend is to eliminate the URL bar altogether in order to make everything go through Google!

@Acro: that was one of my first reactions as well, what Google is doing with Chrome is pretty “unnatural”. If I want to visit DomainingTips.com or Acro.net, why should I perform a Google search? In my opinion, they’d lose market share by eliminating the URL bar, so I’m 99% sure they’ll never try.

Why give Google more control of your life by using Chrome ???

The most people who seek for domains are from the domainers. However, how can I find out the final buyers?
