In my opinion, the #1 selling point new gTLDs in general have is the fact that if you make the right choices, the return can be far greater than with an investment grade dot com. However, if you want the higher return, you also have to accept the fact that you’re also risking considerably more than by buying an investment grade dot com.
So does this mean that investment grade dot coms are safe investments?

Yes… and no 🙂
To clarify my seemingly contradictory statement, I’d just like to add that another question is (in my opinion) necessary in order to answer the one in the title:

I’ll be sharing 7 GoDaddy coupons with you guys today.
Three of them should work internationally, not sure about the other four.
Didn’t use any myself, so I can’t guarantee they’ll work unfortunately.

It seems NameCheap has a completely new design. Compared to the old one, their new design looks “friendlier” for lack of a better word.

In this industry, developing the habit of buying domains due to a “man, I’d love to own it!” or “everyone would envy me if I’d own it!” impulse is a surefire way to lose money in the long run.

The networking, the speakers, the fun, these are all valid reasons but in my opinion, the #1 aspect that makes NamesCon a huge success is the fact that their WaterNight event managed to raise $111,000 as Morgan mentioned earlier today.

When you don’t have to answer to a boss (since you *are* the boss), you basically have complete freedom. I’m a very ambitious guy and this is a double edged sword in my case, since I tend to sometimes forget that I’m only human.
That’s a huge mistake and a surefire way to burn yourself out. If you put your body through more than it can handle, I assure you there will be a price to pay. If not today, then maybe tomorrow… with interest 🙂

This is probably *the* most important question you should be asking yourself when it comes to new gTLDs, yet it doesn’t receive the exposure it deserves in my opinion.
Sure, other questions are important as well, for example whether or not new gTLDs will gain traction. But unfortunately, there’s no way to answer it with 100% certainty at this point, time will tell.

I’ve seen both worlds, so to speak, so I think I’m in a reasonably good position to address this issue.
Now I’m a hard worker, always was and always will be. However, as time passed, I ended up understanding that working hard isn’t enough, not by a long shot.
