Armchair.net (starting bid – $45,000) and MeetingWomen.com (starting bid – $4,500) will be featured at Rick Latona’s extended T.R.A.F.F.I.C. auction, while Necklace.net (starting bid – $52,950) will be available at Moniker’s online-only auction. Ready to put your bidding shoes on?
MeetingWomen.com also comes with a free lifetime inclusion in the Yahoo! directory, the listing alone is worth $299/month (here’s a screenshot). It was accepted several years ago and got grandfathered in.
If you’re interested in adding the MeetingWomen.com to your watchlist or in placing a bid (the auction starts on Wednesday, the 28th of October and ends on the 5th of November – bids are currently accepted, so there’s no time like the present to take action if you’ll be busy or out of town on Tuesday), CLICK HERE.
Armchair.net and Necklace.net represent great candidates for online stores. High priced items + HUGE search volume + aged exact match domain = … (I’ll let you guys fill in the blanks). If your site ends up on the first page, you’ll easily make your money back after the first month.
Getting there will not be a piece of cake though and that’s exactly why I’m selling them: I just don’t have enough time to make things happen. The domain name provides an extremely important boost in both cases but that doesn’t mean that you can just sit back and wait for results. If you think that having a great domain name is enough to make it to the first page, please don’t buy them. Seriously, do yourself a favor and just don’t (or better yet, refrain from buying domains with the intention of chasing after organic traffic altogether until you know enough about SEO in order to make informed purchases – a great domain names is NEVER enough in order to make it to the first page, there’s always work involved and it all depends on how competitive the term you’re targeting is).
If you’re interested in keeping an eye on Necklace.net (the online-only auction starts on Thursday, the 29th of October at, 3:15 PM ET and ends on Wednesday, the 4th of November, at 3:15 PM ET), CLICK HERE.
Alright, a short recap: CLICK HERE if you’ve got your eyes on Armchair.net, CLICK HERE if you’d like to bid on Necklace.net and if you’re interested in buying MeetingWomen.com, CLICK HERE.

I know Andrei from way back,he told me he wanted to auction meeting women because he lacks the time to develop it but I think he’s taking a risk with this starting price. If someone takes it for under $20k it’s a complete shame but I respect his decision.

PS– I would have chosen a $15k reserve to limit the risk but that’s just me. Will the auction be recorded? Email me the video if you have it,would be fun to watch. Use the emailaddress I entered for this comment or maybe you can post a link on your blog.

I bookmarked your blog, you have some great domains. I like your witty style of making a point and also giving us a good laugh

There are only so many domains like the 3 you’re selling out there and one you sell them, they’re gone! Like Xdreamer, I would have chosen a much higher reserve. You’re leaving the possibility of someone getting a too good to be true bargain with such a low reserve.

Are Moniker and Rick Latona affiliated with each other with the auctions? or who organises the conference and auctions

@Xdreamer: not sure, I’ll definitely link to the video if one will be available
@Amit: nope, two separate auctions. Rick Latona will be in charge of all T.R.A.F.F.I.C. conferences as of 2010
