Some People Are Unreasonable

Posted on 02 March 2013 by Andrei

If you’re a domainer or an entrepreneur, you inevitably end up dealing with people who might not like the way you do business.

Maybe you’re a domainer and the person you’re dealing with doesn’t “like” the price you quoted.

Maybe you’re an entrepreneur and one of your customers doesn’t like something about your product/service.

It happens, nobody’s perfect and you can’t please everyone.

But here’s the funny thing.

Some people deal with such situations in a civilized manner.

They politely express their discontent and that’s it, no harm done.

Other people are jerks.

If you have at least a little bit of experience when it comes to end user negotiation, I’m sure you know what I mean. But when you come across a person like this, should you give him/her a piece of your mind?

No.

No, no, no!

There are billions of people on this planet so needless to say, there are lots and lots of different personalities.

Let it be.

I know you’re often tempted to reply with a strongly worded email, resist the temptation.

Inhale, exhale and move on.

If you listen to my advice, you’ll end up saving hours upon hours which would have otherwise been spent on meaningless back and forth email conversations.

You’re welcome :)
