Random Sunday Thought: The Commercial Web Is Less Than 20 Years Old

Posted on 28 October 2012 by Andrei

That’s it, just a random thought that will hopefully help you guys avoid useless back and forth arguments in the future. From now on, whenever you come across someone who rationalizes using arguments such as “oh I wish I started investing in domains earlier”, simply explain that our industry isn’t even 20 years old.

If someone thinks it’s too late to start making money in an industry that’s less than 20 years old… you get the point :)

Have a pleasant Sunday and don’t make the mistake of underestimating the privilege most of us take for granted. We’re here where it all starts (domains, the “foundation” of the Internet), seeing firsthand how things unfold and making money while we’re at it – not too shabby!
