Surprisingly enough, most people don’t yet understand this.
In a lot of cases, iKeyword.com and eKeyword.com domains can be great investments.
They’re easy to remember and *usually* represent a logical choice.
For example, eFurniture.com makes people think of online furniture information or online furniture sales and it makes sense.
“eFurniture.com – The Web’s #1 Online Furniture Information Source” – not bad, right?
That’s actually the main purpose of the “i” and “e”, they basically stand for “online”.
What you have to understand is that iKeyword.com and eKeyword.com DON’T make sense if the word is related to the Internet.
For example, iWebsites.com/eWebsites.com or iInternet.com/eInternet.com are domains that don’t make sense because you can’t say “online websites” or “online Internet”.
All websites are online and the same principle is valid for the Internet, therefore, saying “online websites” or “online Internet” is kind of silly.
The main point of this article is this: iKeyword.com and eKeyword.com domains don’t make sense if the word is related to the Internet.

@Johan: if the word is related to the Internet (Website, Internet, WebDesign etc.), then eKeyword.com domains or iKeyword.com domains don’t make sense.
In other words:
iWebsite.com, iInternet.com, iWebDesign.com = bad
iLawyers.com, iTips.com, iTools.com = good

I agree with you and think the appropriate I and e names have a lot of inherent value. However, as the owner of ifiction.com I am clearly biased!!

I would say iwebdesign.com is an exception. Can be used as “I Web Design”. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder lol.

@Joe: well, it’s not a great domain like iBrand.com, iBrands.com or iBranding.com but the iKeyword.com combination does make sense in your case so from that point of view, it’s ok.

@RAYY: iRealEstate.com is an excellent domain because that’s what domains ultimately are, Internet real estate.
However, as far as iInterRealEstate.com is concerned, I just don’t see the value unfortunately.
