The SnapNames.com “Geo and Local Search Domains” Auction

Posted on 09 December 2009 by BillionDollarMedia

… started less than 12 hours ago and will end on the 15th. I’m not a huge fan of geodomains (not all of the domains which are being auctioned are geos btw) but there’s definitely money to be made, so checking out the list won’t kill ya ;)

Click here if you want a piece of the action. 404 domains are being auctioned this month, that’s a bit too much IMO. I see lots of crappy domains which should have not been accepted (there are quite a few decent domains but it’s hard to stand out when bidders need to browse through 404 listings) but whatever.

HAHA I just imagined them trying to fit all the domains in one banner, 100 would be enough I think.

I see some good domains. There are mediocre domains too but at least there’s something for everyone. I’ll watch the auction out of curiosity, I own domains like those and might sell some.

Sorry for going a little off-topic but is Rio.com the highest geo sale ever?
