9 BillionDollarMedia.com domains are being auctioned at “everything must go” reserves: AudioCabinet.com at $2.5k – $5k, CanadianFlights.com at $1k – $2.5k, PortablePiano.com/IvoryGifts.com/SuedeChairs.com at $500 – $1k, OutdoorSectionals.com/HeatedBoots.com/CoatLockers.com at $201 – $500 and SuedeDrapes.com at No Reserve.
The auction starts tomorrow at 9 AM PST and will end on the 16th at 12:15 PM PST. If you want to check out the entire list, click here. One of my readers asked me how the auction will be organized on the 5th, I spoke with someone from Moniker today and he confirmed that the event will be organized as a showcase auction (people will bid through the SnapNames.com interface and not through the downloadable application).

PortablePiano sure is one nice domain, it has a lot of end user appeal. I could see a company using this on their fliers, on billboards or even when shooting a commercial. I wouldn’t sell it to greedy resellers if I were you

No problems accessing the site here either, maybe kitemaster has some browser settings which are blocking the site.

You got some good ones in there. Good luck. I am kindaa new to this, I’d appreciate if you guys can help me out with this. Can you submit domains registered at other registrars besides Moniker on this kind of auction or it is strictly restricted to Moniker domains only? Thanks!

@new2domaining: you can submit domains which are not regged there but if you don’t transfer them to Moniker, you will have to pay a $100 transfer assistance fee.

Thank you so much Andrei. I have been following your blog for a while, and enjoy all your tips. One more question though. So you have to pay the $100 transfer fee only if the name gets sold right. I also see some .de domains on this auction. I wonder if people from US can register or buy them. Thanks again!

@new2domaining: you’ll only have to pay the $100 fee if your domain is sold and regarding .de domains, you can own them if you have a German contact. A lot of companies (including Moniker, if I’m not mistaken) are willing to handle everything for you
