There have been quite a few discussions about what were to happen if you as a domainer die. Without a doubt, it would be complicated but when it comes to your online businesses, things would be even more complex.

… at least not compared to most “alternatives”. You know what, let’s leave the Internet aside for a moment and analyze some offline companies/brands. Like maybe Pepsi and Coca Cola, which generate billions by selling unhealthy beverages or McDonalds/Burger King/whatever which also generate billions by selling unhealthy food.

I know, I know. US debt, European debt, worldwide debt. But let’s look at the big picture for a moment and I’m going to ask one simple question: do you think that those who lived during WW1 had it better? What about WW2? I asked a pretty important question through a comment I wrote earlier today. One of my readers believes in dot tel development and was trying to explain how revolutionary this system is. Here’s a challenge for anyone in his position:

Am I the only one who hates seeing phrases like “acquire this domain” (or even worse, “acquire this Web property”) instead of plain ol’ “buy this domain” when reading a sales thread on a domaining forum? Here’s a tip for ya: say no to “end user talk” when communicating with another domainer!
