@Eric: hyphenated domains (aside from a few notable exceptions) are not great investments but if branding is not extremely important when it comes to the project you have in mind sure, you can go with the “-” version. There will definitely be no SEO penalties involved if you use just one hyphen, no need to worry about that. On the other hand though, I’d stay away from My-Domain-Name.com, My-Great-Domain-Name.com and so on, one hyphen is ok but if we’re talking about 2+ hyphens, you’d be walking on dangerous territory

I have a question. Is bad to have – in domain names? Which one is better? My-Domain.com or MyDomian.com

There are cases that MyDomian.com is not available. So I go for My-Domain.com.

How many -s you can have in a domain?
