The art of bidding on a domain

Today: Current sales trends / CrosswordPuzzles.com sold for $249,980, but iPuzzles sold for only $358 / .SPACE discussion, news and showcase / And more!

Here are the new discussions that caught my eye in the domain community today:

Bex.io sold for $5,750 – There’s nothing like a three letter .io ccTLD sale for four digits to get your day started off right. Would you have guessed this domain would sell for so much?

Please help about negotiations – What would you do if a motivated buyer sent you an email saying they would call in a couple days, but you don’t speak the same language?

Trademark issue can I still sell the domain? – If you have some IP/Trademark experience and able to provide advice to this investor, it would be very helpful.

.SPACE discussion, news and showcase – Do you have any .space gTLD names in your portfolio you want to show off? Check out what other .space investors are buying.

Current sales trends  – Are your sales this year better than last year or have they slowed down and came to a full stop? What changed in your strategy or the industry to cause that?

CrosswordPuzzles.com sold for $249,980, but iPuzzles sold for only $358 – Can you explain why the longer domain sold for way more than the shorter one? Is it because it’s a product category killer and the short one is a brandable?

The art of bidding on a domain – Are you an avid domain auction bidder and found the sweet spot on bidding strategies? Is it better to gradually bid small or put it all out there and make others chase your budget?
